The Metamorphose Of Your Soul
"And do not be conformed to this world,
but be transformed by the renewing of your mind,
that you may prove
what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God."
Romans 12:2

Do not harmonize with the world!!! Do not act in accord with it's standards!! Have no agreement with the way the world thinks!! Be separate from the standards and mind sets that only bring sin and evil of every kind.
This is God's command to His church.
But don't only refuse harmony with the world...
BE TRANSFORMED
In other words, be in the process of change....be in the process of looking different than you did a year ago. Enter into the life of Holy Spirit metamorphose. The metamorphose of your nature and character. If you are a healthy Christian, change is going to be a normal part of who you are. Your power source is transferring from fleshly impulses over to the power of the Holy Spirit to think, act and breathe like God.
How will this be accomplished???
"...by the renewing of your mind."
The renovation of how you feel, judge, determine and understand. "Extreme make over" was God's idea first. When you are born again (accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior), you immediately enter the remodeling project of your life...literally.
God is all about loving you as you are, but He loves you so much that He will not leave you as you are. You have now given Him permission to lead you into a metamorphose of a lifetime. He will take you and transform you from that worm of a sinner into the most beautiful free flying butterfly that will be a sight for all to see!
When He's finished with you, you will have become the best version of yourself possible!!
But that's not all.
According to Romans 12:2, as you are transformed, something will begin to happen inside you. Your level of discernment is going increase. You will be able to prove and examine things that were unclear to you before. There will be a "sweeping away of the cob webs" in your mind. You will understand more often than before, if something is genuine or fake, good or bad, true or false.
As you mature you will be able to understand the good will of God...the acceptable will of God and even the perfect will of God.
Thank you Lord for your word. It instructs me and challenges me and it changes me. Help me now to apply it to my heart and soul that I may continue this metamorphic journey.

AMEN! This goes SO right along with the Bible Study I'm doing about taking thoughts captive and using the weapons of the Word and prayer every day. Thanks for posting this, Christy. More confirmation. Praise God!
Wow, Christy your other posts the other day and this one is again confirmation that I been sharing/telling and writing for a couple friends. Applying the WORD of GOD in our lives is VITAL! I love how the Lord works!! ty for posting/obeying the Lord!!

Truth and Simplicity.... Characteristics of the Lord...& how we are changed from glory to glory...in Him & Through Him...& For Him....His Glory to shine from us....that all would be lifted to Him.... Unity & Oneness...Reconciled Unto The Father through the Son & Holy Spirit's Power... not of ourselves.... for man it is impossible...BUT...for God..ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE!!! Amen!
